1. Overview
- Swole Club ("we", "the service") is a fitness application available at swole.club. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and how we protect it.
2. Data We Collect
- Name and email address — when signing in via a third-party sign-in service (for example, Google) or registering with email.
- Email registration request — your name, address and password in encrypted (hashed) form are kept until the address is confirmed, but no longer than 24 hours. If the address is not confirmed, the request is deleted and no account is created.
- Interface language — so that we can write to you in your language.
- Profile photo — imported from the sign-in service or uploaded manually.
- Body data — gender, birth year, height, weight. Entered voluntarily during onboarding.
- Workout data — pull-up counts and session history.
- Accelerometer data — collected briefly while the pull-up counter is active; used only for rep counting and never shared with third parties.
- Usage analytics — screens visited, language, device type, browser, country (GeoIP). Contains no personally identifiable information.
3. How We Use Data
- User authentication and identification.
- Displaying personalised interface (name, avatar, progress).
- Storing workout history and progress.
- Sending service emails: confirming your address at registration and messages related to the security and status of your account.
- Taking part in leaderboards.
- Improving the service based on aggregated analytics.
4. Data Storage
- All data is stored on our own servers that are closest to you and/or comply with local data storage requirements. We do not use third-party cloud storage.
5. Emails
- We send emails from our own mail servers, without third-party mailing services.
- If an email could not be delivered, the notice about it (your address and a copy of the email) is kept on our server for no longer than 7 days and is used only to avoid sending emails to a non-existent address.
6. Third Parties
- Third-party sign-in services — you can sign in with an account of a third-party service (for example, Google). Such a service gives us your name, email address and, if there is one, your profile photo; we do not receive the password for that account. Data within the service itself is processed under its own privacy policy.
- We do not share your data with advertising networks, analytics platforms, or any other third parties.
7. Cookies
- We use a session cookie to maintain authentication (JWT) and a sc-country cookie to detect your language by geolocation.
8. Your Rights
- Access your data — in the Settings section of the app.
- Correct your data — name, photo and body parameters can be edited in settings.
- Export your data — in settings you can download a file with everything you have recorded: profile, pull-ups, workouts, programs, body measurements.
- Delete your account — you can do it yourself in the settings section. After a deletion request, the account will be deleted in 7 days unless a request to cancel the deletion is received during that time.
- Participation in leaderboards — turned on and off in settings.
9. Local Law
- We process personal data in accordance with the personal data protection law in force in your country.
