1. Overview

Swole Club ("we", "the service") is a fitness application available at swole.club. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and how we protect it.

2. Data We Collect

  • Name and email address — when signing in via Google OAuth or registering with email.
  • Profile photo — imported from Google or uploaded manually.
  • Body data — gender, birth year, height, weight. Entered voluntarily during onboarding.
  • Workout data — pull-up counts and session history.
  • Accelerometer data — collected briefly while the pull-up counter is active; used only for rep counting and never shared with third parties.
  • Usage analytics — screens visited, language, device type, browser, country (GeoIP). Contains no personally identifiable information.

3. How We Use Data

  • User authentication and identification.
  • Displaying personalised interface (name, avatar, progress).
  • Storing workout history and progress.
  • Improving the service based on aggregated analytics.

4. Data Storage

All data is stored on our own server at swole.club (Europe). We do not use third-party cloud storage. The database is PostgreSQL, secured by password and restricted to the server's local network.

5. Third Parties

  • Google OAuth — used for sign-in. Google provides us with your name, email, and profile photo. Google's privacy policy: policies.google.com/privacy.
  • We do not share your data with advertising networks, analytics platforms, or any other third parties.

6. Cookies

We use a session cookie to maintain authentication (JWT) and a sc-country cookie to detect your language by geolocation. No advertising or tracking cookies are used.

7. Your Rights

  • Access your data — in the Settings section of the app.
  • Correct your data — name, photo and body parameters can be edited in settings.
  • Delete your data — contact us and we will delete your account and all associated data.
