1. Overview
Swole Club ("we", "the service") is a fitness application available at swole.club. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and how we protect it.
2. Data We Collect
- Name and email address — when signing in via Google OAuth or registering with email.
- Profile photo — imported from Google or uploaded manually.
- Body data — gender, birth year, height, weight. Entered voluntarily during onboarding.
- Workout data — pull-up counts and session history.
- Accelerometer data — collected briefly while the pull-up counter is active; used only for rep counting and never shared with third parties.
- Usage analytics — screens visited, language, device type, browser, country (GeoIP). Contains no personally identifiable information.
3. How We Use Data
- User authentication and identification.
- Displaying personalised interface (name, avatar, progress).
- Storing workout history and progress.
- Improving the service based on aggregated analytics.
4. Data Storage
All data is stored on our own server at swole.club (Europe). We do not use third-party cloud storage. The database is PostgreSQL, secured by password and restricted to the server's local network.
5. Third Parties
- Google OAuth — used for sign-in. Google provides us with your name, email, and profile photo. Google's privacy policy: policies.google.com/privacy.
- We do not share your data with advertising networks, analytics platforms, or any other third parties.
6. Cookies
We use a session cookie to maintain authentication (JWT) and a sc-country cookie to detect your language by geolocation. No advertising or tracking cookies are used.
7. Your Rights
- Access your data — in the Settings section of the app.
- Correct your data — name, photo and body parameters can be edited in settings.
- Delete your data — contact us and we will delete your account and all associated data.
